not really, waves have been pumping all week but i'm trying not to think about it. i got back into it last summer and went over to Hawaii and surfed pipe etc but have been pretty much locked in a room drawing ever since:)

when are you going to visit the states? :D

been over twice in the last 3 years so i doubt it will be for a while but i do miss the good times...

a tropical surfing trip with just the lads is planned for next year if i can get the funds. massive euro trip the following year for my girls 30th

until then i have to be content with a trek north to NSW for new years, not to bad though, one of the most beautiful national parks i have ever scene:)

I just (like moments ago) got short-listed for an interview to do Fine Art at RMIT next year. Should be thrilled I guess, but really I feel so conflicted... to study or not...... :-/

that's brilliant mate, i had interviews for fine art at VCA, RMIT and monash back in the day but decided to go with design...

VCA used to be the best but i'm not sure if it still is because there reputation lost a bit of cred when they allowed full fee paying students to buy there way in like all the others

i would love to study again and do fine art but right now my misuses would kill me, wants to start a proper life which i totally understand and all but maybe one day, gotta keep the dream alive

No idea really about the whole reputation of each these days... I'm a little skeptical/jaded about most educational institutes in general really. I've heard VCA and RMIT differ in their approach, one more conventional, the other a bit more "out there"... I'm just taking this as another option/opportunity. Will see what happens.

Thanks too, btw. Cargo Collective seems to be a conglomeration of creative industry peeps... you either get invited or you can request a site yourself. It's just another branch of procrastination really. Haha...

lol! That would've been quite a revelation! It actually means "stamps" in Italian... I just use to think it was such a funny word when I lived there. Broccoli works pretty damn well too. Mmm, broccoli stamps...
