I believe it takes a while to know. Some get printed more quickly than others.

ow the waiting game begins. There's really no ryhme or reason to what gets picked, but usually lots of designs with tons of comments and over a 2.5 is around the target for Threadless printing range. But just because something gets a hgih score doesn't guarantee it for print (Glennz's 3.58 or something ridiculous like that score for his rock me amadeus design and it's never been printed), nor does a really low score (like for Olli's 1.95 scoring Cat on a Skateboard this week) mean there is no chance for printing. I think a lot of it depends on how many "I'd buy it" 's the shirt gets, and honestly just the personal preferances sometimes of the Threadless staff.

hmm i'm still a little confused..when i search for the designs that have won, they all seem to be atleast 2 months old (i.e the newest one.. sonmi's 'wishless' design finished scoring 54 days ago) did sonmi find out 2 months ago they won?

takes 7-10 weeks for a design to be printed

Well, the Terms of Use say that you have to wait 90 days before submitting your design to other companies, so I assume they can take up to 3 months to tell you that you've won. If they haven't contacted you for 90 days then you probably haven't won, I suppose.

Yeah, it's safe to say you lose after 90 days.

Yeah, sometimes it takes a long time in between finding out that you got a print and then when it's actually up on the product page. One of mine took way longer than the 7-10 weeks.
