So this brand called Republic, which they sell in Myer stores in Australia and is already guilty of ripping off MP(3) has gone and ripped off Stone Jungle.

It's printed on red. It's not a direct copy, the city skyline is of a completely different city and bizzarely there are hot air balloons instead of planes. The Republic image would've been created from scratch rather than from a livetrace or something, but the concept is completely stolen.

There's no website on the label that I could see and it's very hard to find a website for the company through google because so many brands or political t-shirts include the word "republic" so I'm just going to post this and we can all shake our fists and curse at no one and probably accomplish nothing in here.

But I'll get a better look at it tomorrow, maybe post some pics and look into finding some contact details.

The Simpsons had a couch gag tonight parodying the movie Powers of Ten. Technically, it was an old gag, though a new episode, but it made me feel all nostalgic.

You probably watched it at the planetarium or observatory on some school excursion when you were little.

What I loved about it was that you could look through a telescope at the stars or through a microscope at your cells and see something equally as amazing.

So I thought I'd share, just in case you never saw it, or if seeing it again will make you feel like I did seeing that couch gag tonight:

At school, they let us watch it on the VCR, with the fast forward on. YouTube can't offer you that, but it's still cool.

We've been told to expect big things soon from Naked and Angry.

I think this would be a good idea. It seems so obvious, I'm sure people have already considered it so staff are encouraged to drop hints here if this might be coming soon.

What if Threadless joined forces with N&A to create patterned fabric designs that could then be sewn into t-shirts? Now that Threadless are making their own I'm sure this would be easy. It could probably be done in America too by the same factory that makes the custom Select colours.

It would allow designers to overcome some of the limitations we're encountering with the belt printer, such as the one-colour limit and problems with printing over the seams. A printed fabric could be multiple colours, and would not be afftected by the seams.

Also, it could potentially allow designers to offer a screen print to be printed on after the t-shirt is sewn.

So anyone else think it's a good idea? Or do patterned t-shirts just look lik pyjamas? Although Threadless pyjamas ... there's an idea.

This arrived today!

The print is so soft and so comfortable. It looks great, it is absolutely amazing!

I was worried the ink might irritate my neck but it doesn't poke over. The ink is soft and perfectly aligned to the edge of the t-shirt.

Congrats funkie fresh, thanks for designing this, it's wonderful.

My second order of the previous sale was waiting for me when I got home today.

I don't think I've ever been this happy with a Threadless order since Ignorance is Bliss, anyway (thanks Leon!)

And How Are You Feeling Today? is the coolest printing job ever! The colour is awesome. The print is amazing! It covers the entire front, it is soooo soft and best of all, it goes right up to the edge of the neck but unlike a certain very popular belt-print design I bought from a certain other website there's no excess ink pointing over the edge of the neck scratching me all day. It's actually painful wearing that one. The edge of the print lines up perfectly and it's so soft anyway, that unlike the other design it probably wouldn't bother me even if it did poke over. I had to take to the ink of the other design with a pair of nail scissors. This one is perfect. I'm wearing it tomorrow.

I'm going to go make a product blog about how great it is, but I want everyone in the regular blogs to know too.

Also in there was Ticket to Ride, which came out great and a Squeegee Clean that contrary to all reports neither looks like a dick nor is poorly printed.

And if you want an answer the question And How Are You Feeling Today? I'm feeling great! How are you?

If you hate this shirt or want to discuss religion, you can do it here. If you want to praise the shirt, you can go post in Danielle's blog.

Just noticed it. This kinda excites me. I'll probably delete the blog when this becomes painstakingly obvious to everyone.

Photobucket

I had this idea, except I'm sure it wasn't my idea and I've stolen it from somewhere else, but I can't for the life of me think where.

It was probably a sketch comedy show. Does anyone recognise this joke from somewhere?

It's just a shoddy mock-up, but basically Clark Kent is running to the phonebooth to change into Superman. Dr Who, Neo and Bill also need to use the phonebooth, but none of them can because Colin Farrel is trapped inside.

Great tits cope well with warming

Did you think this was about what I thought it was about?

Were you disappointed when you found out it wasn't?

And did it remind you of this/these?

Dear men who don't wash their hands after using public toilets,

what the fuck is wrong with you? You come out of your cubicle and see me there washing my hands and then you just walk right out the door! I don't want to have to touch the door after you've been in there doing whatever. That's like touching your dick or your arse, or everything it's ever come into contact with. And I don't want to eat my lunch afterwards, that's like putting your dick in my mouth. And I really don't want to do that.

Also,

Dear Madonna,

please put some pants on. No one has wanted to see your legs in at least fifteen years.

Also,

Dear Channel 7,

you replaced Lost with Britain's Saggiest Boobs featuring Trinny and Susanna? That was really annoying.
