This Select is great. And very well priced. No gimmicky inks. No random text. It has nothing that people who dislike Selects dislike.

On second thoughts, I am a little worried about the "Custom Light Brown" colour. From the photos, it looks like guys and girls get completely different colours. It reminds me of the old days with AA creme and FOTL natural. But both colours should be the same and it's a trick of the photography. So I'm worried the pictures don't give us and accurate representation of the colour. Still, I can't pass this up.

yeah the lighting in the girls pic is strongly lit from the behind and in the guys pic its straight up front lighting, which would probably make a difference

Yeah, definitely the lighting. It's just hard to tell which one is closer to how it will look "in real life."

It is puff ink. So I guess I was wrong about the "no gimmicky inks" statement. But the 3D effect looks cool and it didn't push the price up to a level people will complain about so I sill say it's cool.

Interesting they used puff ink for geometric shapes though. The submission kit suggests it's better for organic shapes rather than hard edges and angles. Looks like it turned out well.
