What's the weirdest group or pool invite you've gotten?

Okay, is it just me, or has there been of influx lately of people who seem to have no sense of humor whatsoever? People bitching and moaning about Threadless being mean and rude and stinking of cheese? I know most of them are teenagers, but not all of them, which baffles me. How can you go twenty plus years without sarcasm?

And how come no one says "Please" and "Thank you" anymore?

And no one holds the door open for each other.

So, this'll be my first (mostly) serious blog....besides that epic poem I wrote about scissors.

I want to get a new camera. I've noticed that most of the people here are kick-ass photographers, so I wanted to ask for suggestions. I've out-grown my little point and shoot...any ideas for the next step up? My friend said Nikon or Canon are both good, but I'm still an idiot about cameras.
