Once upon a time (January 8), Matthew of the Gill came to Philly, and hung out with Brian and me. He ate not one but TWO cheesesteaks, then delicious Mexican food. He also turned Rocky to STONE. (Or bronze, or whatever)

Matt and Rocky

He loved it so much that he gifted the city with his hair.

Another upon a time (Saturday), Becca who Shakes the Sheets came to Philly for adventures. We learned that "Open 'til 4am" actually means "Open 'til 4am, But Not This Week, 'Cause We Need a Nap, You Guys." Then we each ate our weight in carbs, and Brian and Becca talked of sports a bit as I sat quietly and thought of Han Solo. Becca decided she was done with our foolishness and took the next bus out of there, but not before Instagraming her ordeal for future generations.

Too Cool

So...yeah. I know you're jealous, but it's okay.
Yes.

I have a few from Threadlessers. This is from that lovable scamp, Jeff G:

Abstract Stamos Watermelon

This is from Bri-Bri:

Freeeeeeeeeeeze

And this is something I made myself:

Pattern Paintings

So what you got? SHARE IT, YO.
Some friends of mine are coming to Philadelphia in March, and they really want to take a bus/train up to New York for a day, and I'm trying to see how well that would work.

If you could go to New York for one day, what would you see?

Have you been? What's lame?

Do you live there? Wanna come and show some Tennessee bumpkins around?

What are you wearing? Is it getting hot in here, or just you?
There may eventually be pictures and recipes in here, but for now, just imagine and be jealous.

I'm looking to maybe get a cake decorating job, and I don't think it would help for a prospective employer to see all my flickr photos. (Unless they're also sock enthusiasts.)

I might just start a whole separate account just for my cake photos, but I'm wondering if there's a better way.

Do you have a portfolio? Did you do it somewheres other than Flickr? TEACH ME YOUR MAGIC.
Welcome to the nearly 30 club!

I got you a cake with your favorite golf team! Or whatever.

Also, here's a cake of Bob Dylan, 'cause you like that guy, right?

And while I'm at it, Merry Jewish Christmas!

Now go sit down, old man, before you hurt yourself.
I'm in a craftin' type of mood.

(I didn't make these)

Last year, I made these for Christmas presents:

Homemade Christmas Presents

Have you made anything this year? Previous years? Are you wanting to make things? Let's see 'em, yo!
What do you have? What do you like? How's your week so far?

I have a navy peacoat:
Peacoat

It's nice, but a little tight.

I reaaaaaaally want another peacoat, possibly this one.

My week so far is lovely. It would be nice to get a job, though, probably.
Might be neat.

We'll see.
