Holiday craftin'.

I'm in a craftin' type of mood.

That wreath is adorable. Last year I made ornaments; butterflies out of the yellow pages, and painted cinnamon-applesauce cookie cut-outs.

This year... I dunno. Something with crayons.

The blue peppermint wreath that is in the new Rachel Ray is pretty cool looking. I would totally make that if I didn't think it would melt to the door. Guess you could spray some kind of shellac/sealant on it though.

No, the cinnamon ornaments aren't edible. My grandma tried to eat one once though. It was ok to laugh because she isn't senile.

Erin and I did furniture restoration this year for a few friends. We bought old beat up pieces at auctions this summer and have been restoring them, good times.

i've always thought it was ostentatious and a bit obnoxious how people send out really long cards around the holidays bragging about each family member's annual accomplishments. i want to send out fake christmas cards with terrible descriptions of what my family has been up to this year. that'll learn them.

And hi, Amelia! Philly's pretty nifty. I really like it, especially the part I live in. It's really mellow and I'm right around the corner from Fabric Row and this really great market, and amazing restaurants.
