(new title to grab attention)
How and when did you learn about the birds and the bees? My dad died when I was eleven, and my mom and I never had a good relationship, so nobody ever sat me down for "The Talk." I think I was nineteen before I figured it all out, pieced together from jokes, stories I heard in high school, a child development book, and HBO. For those of you who haven't learned about it yet, enjoy this educational video:

4th grade taught me.
and then again in 7th grade? and 8th? I don't know.
I had to figure it out on my own, too, mostly because of my parents' culture.
