Hey I know it could potentially be a personal topic, but I was wondering if any one with Aspergers syndrome or that knows a decent amount about it, would communicate with me and spread some knowledge or experience. If you don't feel comfortable talking about it on the threadless forums, my email address is jamestronmax@hotmail.com And i can give you naught but my word that any conversation would be confidential.

you are probably better off going to a specific forum for this?

What a weird request, and a strange place to make it.

I'm sure there are more appropriate forums on the internet that you could try.

For example, here is a UK forum specifically for discussing Asbergers:

yea probably. But at the same time I need more to talk to people in this field eg.design and that use web outlets such as forums not unlike threadless. your comment is duly noted and I am already in the processes of finding a more specific forum.

I know a good bit about autism, which is similar to Aspergers. I also read a blog (off an on) written by a woman with a child who has Aspergers.

I do go to several Autism forums that I could link you to (in email) if you would like. Just email me...

I just have a small comment. It seems like lately, in New Zealand, anyone who is just a bit different, is suddenly being diagnosed with Aspurgers. I am off to the site mentioned above to see what the true definition is.

Are you asking on this site because you are interested in the relationship between creativity and aspergers?

I think my Dad may have had it. He had the IQ of 180, was a mathamatical genuis, was in university when he was 16. But couldn't socialize with other people, or cook a meal and feed himself- if it weren't for other people taking care of him he would have starved.
