Band: Anberlin Design? (revised)

I was wondering if anyone thought that girl on this shirt was really similar to the Anberlin Button Girl Shirt Design (Link: https://www.shopbenchmark.net/shop/index.php?main_page=band&cPath=65&plPath=71&products_id=403 or this for a shorter link: https://www.shopbenchmark.net/shop/images/buttongirl_t.gif ). Was it made by the same person who made the Anberlin shirt? Anyone know?

You mean the summer wind tee? Yes, very similiar, but i've seen that kind of wind-swept hair style many times before...check this out!!!

Is that album cover inspired by the artist Patrick Nagel?

That album being the Duran Duran one.

idk...they are verrrrry similar....especially if you look at where the hair swoops at the same points...and the lips at the same point....

Ok, resized the anberlin design to 200% to show the details a little better, shrunk the threadless design to scale, put them side by side and did a quick hack job to erase some of the flowers from the threadless design to make the face/hair easier seen.

I'd say that if it's not the same artist, one is definitely a rip off. Who had the design first?

the outer hair looks a bit different (partly probably because of the flowers)

but the head itself.. including libs, eyes, eyebrows, hair on the left side, angle, proportion.. all looks pretty close to identical.

The face is exactly the same, but flipped.

The Threadless design is over 5 years old, so I would imagine the anberlin design came later.

I compared the image with one on top of the other and the face is exactly the same. The anberlin design would have to be a rip off considering how old the threadless one is.

haha sorry Tonteau...but actually that anberlin shirt is probably the same age...thats why I was wondering if it was made by the same artist?
