I've never heard of it, but surely those people don't believe they are watching real amateur footage and not a film made to look like that?

it's really a look into how movies can become nice earners at the box office.

turns out, people like mysetery and intrigue before forking out 10 dollars based on crafty edits and effects in a teaser.

I watching another trailer of this and the people knew it was just a movie but said it was still a really great horror movie, one of the scariest that they've seen.

I get that. I'd like to watch this film, but I don't really get the whole 'sticking actors in fake documentary' thing - most of them lack the ability to act subtly enough. It worked with Blair Witch (which I thought was great despite knowing it was just a movie), but I'm not sure how far they can take it.

I still haven't seen Blair Witch Project all the way through. I rented it when I still lived with my parents and the end of the tape (yes, TAPE) was screwed up. I missed like the last 20 minutes.
