I made macaroni and cheese at like 11:00 PM yesterday.

i wouldn't eat salad if it weren't for the dressing.
iDanSimpson
iDanSimpson on Dec 22 '07 at 11:15pm
except a fruit salad. or a pasta salad.

margolove
margolove on Dec 22 '07 at 11:15pm
actually, I prefer salad with only a really small amount of dressing.

So no... ahaha.

yeahh.. I'm not so into dressing.

I do make salads just so I can eat the craisins, though.

And I'm not eating anything now.

well...you all make me feel like a fatty now.

i just ate gushers. mm.
margolove
margolove on Dec 22 '07 at 11:19pm
I haven't eaten gushers in a loooong time.

hehe, don't feel like a fatty! I just don't like oily salad very much. I like a lot of romaine so that it's REALLY crunchy.

I like salad for the onions and croutons, sometimes for the dressing (Raspberry Stuff).

No midnight snacks for me.

I would kill for a salad right now though, but it requires too much chewing.

hmmm...I don't even liek the lettuce that much. when I make salad, it's like 90% other veggies, like peppers and tomatoes. lettuce is a filler

mmmmmm gushers!
sonmi
   sonmi on Dec 22 '07 at 11:21pm
yeah totally

especially if it's some really fancy sounding dressing like mandarin sesame... which i guess isn't super fancy, but it sounds good

then i get weirded out at the thought of eating leaves that are sweetened
iPear
iPear on Dec 22 '07 at 11:22pm
ooh@ fancy dressing

I like eating salad cuz it helps me be one with my spirit beast, the Triceratops.

i don't like croutons. too crunchy.

i love onions and peppers in salads. usually tomatoes too, but i notice they're always nasty when you get them at most restaurants. i think it's because they chill the tomatoes, so it makes them have a weird texture.

I tried this raspberry stuff my parents had around and hated it...I like my dressing to be creamy or cheesy or really vinegar-y

sweet stuff + lettuce = ehhhhhh

way to be left field, ipear. don't you dare talk bad about fancy dressings, either!

man, sometimes my sister gets a salad from the saladbar at the grocery, and ... she has no idea how to make a proper salad.

There's your greens, your oranges, sometimes your reds, a few whites, maybe a black or two, some cheeses, some sauces, some crunchies maybe....but why in the flying placenta would you freaking get a chicken wing and put it in your salad? Crab Meat? wtf? crabs have no such chunked meat on their bodily vessels! THIS IS MADNESS.

The perfect salad contains shredded lettuce, lots of onions, really tiny diced tomatoes, croutons, bacon bits, raspberry stuff, and a tiny bit of cheese.
margolove
margolove on Dec 22 '07 at 11:26pm
I haaaaaaaate tomatoes.

I like onions and peppers and carrots and many other vegetables, but I would prefer to eat them in a form other than chopped up and in a salad. Plus they're great without anything else on them.

Ooo I forgot celery! Celery is a must in a salad.

I am not a fan of carrots unless they are stewed.

Peppers are good when they are done on the stove and accompany fajitas.
hollyc2010
hollyc2010 on Dec 22 '07 at 11:31pm
eh...not a big fan of celery in general...

unless it has peanut butter and raisin "ants" on it

I hate any form of cooked carrots. Cooking a carrot is akin to removing every one of its good qualities.

Namely crunchiness and overall freshness.
iPear
iPear on Dec 22 '07 at 11:33pm
Margo, I totally agree.

carrots is good raw, and only raw.

mushy carrots are gross.
margolove
margolove on Dec 22 '07 at 11:34pm
the feeling of a cooked carrot in my mouth is what I assume Satan would also feel like in my mouth.

Im sure other people have said this, but the only reason to eat salad is for the dressing. Vegetables are stupid.

Also, I agree, raw carrots are amazing. Cooked carrots make me gag. My mom finally stopped forcing (not down my throat, just making me sit at the table until I ate them) me to eat them when I almost threw up one time.

^ yay. you understand.

I do like vegetables on their own, too, though. cherry tomatoes are delicious
cassiepaige
cassiepaige on Dec 22 '07 at 11:44pm
I am not a fan of plain, raw, vegetables. I don't like the crunchy, fresh taste and how simple they are.

Or it could be the fact that I was never severed these things and now I don't know how to like them :(
