OK, I don't know if it matters, but I'm using Firefox. And I was typing something into the Google search. And, you know how it drops down suggestions to finish your thought while you're typing? would you mind just typing this into your search thingie and telling me what its first suggestion is?

I imagine it makes suggestions based on what people search for a lot with a given combination of letters (maybe also based on location?). If so, what I'm getting is pretty funny.

BUT BUT anyway, it is neat, you two were right! I have only seen the water in the dark so far because we were awful late coming, but it is pretty good and also very big. and loud. and I kept saying WHAT'S THAT SMELL and he'd say it was the ocean and I'd say oh yeah I forgot but now I don't smell it, kind of like when the kids from the cities came down and smelled the cow poop that none of us could smell.

also, crabs are afraid of me I guess. I thought maybe I totally ruined this one crab's chance of gettin it on because he was all I'M RUNNIN and I was like I'M NOT HUNGRY I JUST WANNA LOOK AT YA but he was runnin. also there are so many stars here, like back home, and I have not felt like a homesickness in a long time and it is a little sad. also sand is HARD to walk on, and my shoes have a lot of sand and water now because sometimes close enough to see in the dark is too close for dry feet, I guess. but I stepped on no jellyfish. and that's all, and I'm going to bed, and I will be sorry later I'm sure but I just wanted to say it. so bye.

omigoshomigoshomigosh, we were looking at apartments, and then we saw this really awesome one, and then it got leased! "Oh no," right?! But then, then, I kept asking the property manager all these questions, and she was like, "oh, yes, actually, we DO have more of that floor plan" and I was like, "oh good! oh wait...oooh, those are a little more expensive than that last one...I dunno, can we have it for that other price?" and she was like, "welllll...ok, sure". Whoa! Unexpected! Did I just negotiate a price?? I think I just negotiated a price!!

UPDATE: They said our application went through fine and our tentative move-in date will be over Memorial Day weekend! EEEEEEEEEEEEEEE! Move-in date still tentative because they're still running Tim's background check. Which is...like...yeah, I know they are just doing their job, but it's still privately hilarious.

UPDATE TO THE UPDATE: We signed the lease on Saturday, and spent the rest of the weekend packing, and my sinuses are now full of dust. Silver lining: I finally found all the pieces to our domino set, which I knocked behind the bookcase in the closet last summer.

...to hang out with my boyfriend's friends. They just called to say they'd meet us by the Cinnabon. This is like the chummy high school experience I secretly yearned for! bahahahaha, I can't believe I'm actually going to meet someone by the Cinnabon!!

OK, so there is some kind of chemical leak on our floor...therefore, they are flooding the hallway with freon to save us from it? And there are firemen crawling around everywhere...and they told us to STAY INSIDE OUR OFFICE, UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES ARE WE TO LEAVE OUR SUITE UNTIL THIS INVESTIGATION IS CLOSED.
