omigoshomigoshomigosh, we were looking at apartments, and then we saw this really awesome one, and then it got leased! "Oh no," right?! But then, then, I kept asking the property manager all these questions, and she was like, "oh, yes, actually, we DO have more of that floor plan" and I was like, "oh good! oh wait...oooh, those are a little more expensive than that last one...I dunno, can we have it for that other price?" and she was like, "welllll...ok, sure". Whoa! Unexpected! Did I just negotiate a price?? I think I just negotiated a price!!

UPDATE: They said our application went through fine and our tentative move-in date will be over Memorial Day weekend! EEEEEEEEEEEEEEE! Move-in date still tentative because they're still running Tim's background check. Which is...like...yeah, I know they are just doing their job, but it's still privately hilarious.

UPDATE TO THE UPDATE: We signed the lease on Saturday, and spent the rest of the weekend packing, and my sinuses are now full of dust. Silver lining: I finally found all the pieces to our domino set, which I knocked behind the bookcase in the closet last summer.
