I'm an early 30s dual-national Brit with a shameful lack of exposure to my paternal homeland of Iran, having recently found that my opinion of England -- my life-long residence -- went from OKish to nonplussed. Concerned that my view of the world would be forever channeled through a thick pair of National Health blinkers, I sought to correct my vision, through exposing myself completely to Islamic Republic, that is Iran.
