Yet another ripoff.
So I walk into a shop near my place and realised that about a third of all the tshirts look really... familiar. And then I see the Dark Side of the Garden tshirt and it hits me. THEY'RE FROM THREADLESS! And it's not just one or two that got ripped... we're talking at least 10-15 designs! I asked the shop owner if they were from Threadless and he said something like, yes, they were, but the designs were bought by a company called Graphic Playground and then he proceeded to quickly change subject. I took a peek at the label and indeed, it DID say Graphic Playground. No Threadless label anywhere. What the hell?

That kinda sucks but before you go blowing the horn you need some pictures or at least a store name.

That's the problem.. I live in Singapore.. NOT the US. It doesn't make things easier. I can't remember the store name, but I can always go back and check sometime this week. Anyhoos, I've uploaded pics of the two tees I bought from there. I had no idea they were from threadless until I went online and checked the catalog.

I just saw the dark side of the garden for the 1st time today.
Now I bought the axact same design T-shirt from a staff in camden market in london in 2006. But the really interresting thing is that this guy had at least 5 differant cool star wars designs which I haven't seen on threadless. Like one was these 2 animal machine things with legs from the ice planet... you know the ones? A big one looking down at a little one and saying I am your father. There were others too although I can't remember them. but they all had a similar style. So I wonder.... which did come first?

I'm from Singapore too and I'm aware that there are such ripoffs. Somebody ought to do something about this, its copyright infringement! They're from Far Easy Plaza eh.

Hey, I've been to that store - and noticed the same thing. Actually, the owner came over and was trying to do the pushy I'm-your-buddy salesman thing, so I was a dick to him and he ended up kicking me out. Heh. But seriously, it's Asia (even if it is Singapore) so forget about anyone doing anything about it.

I'm also from Singapore and I've seen Stone Jungle on sale in HANG TEN. I didn't take and pictures, and didn't ask the sales people about it. I just stood there and stared in shock for about a full minute, possibly making several incredulous faces. I mean, I'd sort of understand a tiny dingy shop somewhere ripping off Threadless Ts, but a chain like Hang Ten?! I was more than a little shocked.
Interestingly, I didn't see the design on sale again after that one time, at other Hang Tens, even though I looked out for it. Perhaps someone did approach them.

And it's quite disturbing how it's the Singaporeans here all saying we're seeing rip-offs... ...

I live in Brisbane Australia and there is a shop here that sells Threadless rip offs. The labels say "hopscotch" on them but the designs are quite obviously just stolen directly from Threadless. Their website is is http://www.playhopscotch.com/ but it doesn't seem to be up and running yet.
