Critique Buddies Wanted!!!

Getting feedback on the critiques is sometimes like pulling teeth. ( ouch! )

I would like to connect with others who feel the same way to crit each others subs when they are posted.

I try to go through the critiques a couple times a week, but sometimes it's just plain overwhelming. There are so many of them posted every day.

Do you mean my site? It is going really well, although more often than not I have been commisioned to paint things that aren't my style but eh you have to make money some how.

Kids are where the money is, people will spend rediculous amounts of money on their kids, I know this because I do too.

But it also allows me to tax deduct all of my painting supplies so I can cover the costs of my hobby at the same time.

Yeah I'm trying to get together with my girl and do some kids based biz or storybook. I heard the other day it is a 7 billion dollar a year bizness.

The best way I have found to promote is through cross linking with other kids based sites, especiallly the ones that pay for google front page access, that way I don't have to and it doesn't cut into my profits..

I don't pay for advertising at all and people always seem to find me.

When I started I went around to kids clubs and child care centres and left cards, that was expensive and didn't really do anything because most of my orders are not from local customers. I have shipped to the U.S.A a few times but mostly interstate areas in Australia.

I don't have mad skillz or anything....but I'll comment on what I know. And I would SO appreciate actual critiques from others.

The whole critique thing drives me a bit crazy.....people leave do not submit or needs work, but they don't offer any suggestions. So, if your willing to leave helpful comments....so am I.

I have been very busy with freelance work lately and haven't been able to get on the site much ( which is a good thing I guess ).
