curious if there is meaning behind the design?
posted 6 years, 5 months ago in I feel like I'm floating...
you are probally right, it might have been the proverbial straw that broke the camels back, from having to calm down my girlfriend who is every bit a ''sensitive artist'. admittedly I did get overworked over a somewhat innoxious comment.

I honestly don't understand why people go out of thier way to say something completely negative about another person or thier design? If you feel like your doing everyone a favor by spreading your negativity then your sense of self importance is way to high. The artists and designers on here spend alot of time and effort to put together these designs (I know firsthand from seeing my girlfriend slave over a design for a while, and the first comment she gets is, "don't like it"). Do they ask to be assessed and critiqued. yes, but does that give free reign to people to be shallow and mean? I, myself, don't think so. It easy for people to hide behind thier computers and spout off things they would never say to others to thier face. Maybe expecting a decorum of civilized behaviour is too much.
13 Strong since you are such an adherent of the dictionary than you must already know the definition of the word malice. It's this
desire to inflict injury, harm, or suffering on another, either because of a hostile impulse or out of deep-seated meanness
Thats what your initial comment was, malicious. But when the designer called you out on it, You just had to have the LAST WORD. because that is the type of person you are. Yea you have every right to voice your opinion but there is a small level of respect that we in an educated civil society show people. Why is that such a difficult concept for people on threadless to grasp
of course, nice attempt to avoid the main question 13strong, which is this.
why did you come back to this design after your initial posting. You already made a comment and dismissed the design so quickly. Did you want to see what kind of reaction the designer would have from your comment? Did you read every comment to scour for your name? Are you that self abosorbed? I came back because I like the design and hope it gets printed. But I am honestly curious why you came back. Your comment had no question attached to it nor was it even though provoking? tell me honestly the reason you came back, I think it speaks volumes for your personality.
