subs going up for scoring faster?

Just wondering are people submitting less designs, designs no getting approved as easy anymore?

not complaining at all just wanted to discuss, it seems about the right amount of subs that are up for voting, no more then usualy, no less.

maybe cause fm 365 stopped doing his 365 challenge, which was making the wait extra long with his million subs! hahaha jk :p

I submitted and a day after it was already up for voting which is great! And now I'm just waiting for it to finish early, yaaay!

Maybe Threadless is getting a little more picky when it comes to letting designs through so the scoring system no longer has to contend with fifteen clip-art mash ups in a row now to get to the "good stuff"?

Or the Threadless Alumni Payola Fund is working really well with the staff.

We used to have a certain number of subs waiting in the que as a buffer, but we don't do that any more. I put subs up the day after they are submitted, regardless of how many that is. I'm still declining a lot of them, so the wait is now mercifully short.

I think that's not a good sign. One, two months ago people who scored, for example my work (not Yours:) would be from 700-800 votes, yesterday barely 500... hmmmm.

Just in case for some reason we didn''t have enough to last through a weekend, or absolute worst case scenario there aren't any acceptable ones that get submitted to put up. We'd just put a certain number up every day and make sure there were some still pending for the next day.

I ran an experiment recently, I posted about 30 pending subs because they were either terribly funny, terrible or terribly good and only about 5 made it into scoring

i've definitely been "re-motivated" to sub. i think it is perfect. I think everyone thought they could "get rich quick" and soon learned, they could not and ran away. although, more votes would be nice like 2 years ago or so...

I appreciate this ~ it's great to see it go up right away, but then the 7 day wait comes sooner, too. The seven day wait is the roughest. I think on day 3, if my shit doesn't have a 2... just kill it.
