I recently submitted the very geeky slogan, "I π GEOMETRY," only it didn't allow the π character, so I had to write "I pi GEOMETRY," which just doesn't have the same impact. I tried typing in the HTML code for the symbol, but it was a no-go. I felt the need to explain that I intended for the pi to be π, so I included in brackets, "[slogan uses Greek symbol for "pi" in red]." The result was a long and clumsy slogan. Wouldn't it be nice, I pondered, if I could only add just a dash, a teeny tiny dash of code. I could use the symbol π and even make it red. Just some HTML special characters and a tiny bit of font control. That would make me a happy slogan submitter, indeed.

What thinketh the throngs of threadless theorists?

Really? I tried π and also π. Neither one worked for me. At least it didn't seem to. When I previewed it, it just came up as the code and not the symbol, but maybe it would've worked after completing submission?

*note: the second code mentioned above was & # 960 ; (minus the spaces).

no it might be a number code.
try one of the first pages that comes up on google when you search "html symbols" and look at the stuff there...
