So you get an E-mail from Threadless to say that they love all your slogans, that they want to print one but don't care which. The choice is yours. Which one would you pick?
This would be mine: Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic. Burn The Witch. about The Politburo Explains
Just wanted to say congrats Matt - High time you got your second print and this is a Doozie - a classic 1950's style with your usual innovative and original stamp. Classic (coke).
Here in the U.K the vast majority of people believe in the National Health Service (NHS). When there have been suggestions that it be disbanded there have been out cries similar to those currently in the U.S at the sugggestion that a NHS be introduced.
Now the U.K NHS is being used by the U.S Media in this debate and appears to be portraying it as some kind of third rate, third class system. As someone who has worked all his adult life for the NHS ( 20 years) I don't recognise this image. I think a system that provides for everyone is a good thing and the mark of a caring, compassionate society. Discuss.
Hi Mate - I had to get some advice re. sending STP's and Jebbie helped me out. However as you might know you can only send 2 stp's with each purchase so I will ( hopefully) send you 2 stp's with my next 6 orders. I've just tried to send you some now with an order. Can you tell me if you've received them so I know that I've done it correctly.
Was under the understanding that I could purchase STP's when buying a new shirt and send them to another Threadless member. Just tried to buy DBV11 new slogan shirt but saw no opportunity to send STP's - I owe Jacknappes $18. I saw something re. Gift Certificates but the lowest amount was $25 and it requires me to have his E-mail address. Can anyone help?
Great great slogan - really happy for Debbie but the presentation is just awesome and makes this a must buy for me.
Out of interest I've just gone through my Threadless orders. 112 shirts in two years.
Fuck.
I don't what it is about her work but ginetteginette's designs always inspires the poet in me.
There once was a lady from the big city, Who produced interesting milk from each titty, Asked why does it flow, Seven colors in a row, She replied because it's so darn pretty ![]() There once was a young girl from Basseterre, Who had an arse with the face of a bear, It had a ferocious appetite for honey, So she soon ran out of money, And had to sell her bear arse to the fair ![]() My challenge is this: Pick up to two ginetteginette subs to write a limerick about. If ginetteginette herself would like to get involved in this she can pick the winner, otherwise I will. Winner gets a tee of his or her choice.
Ok - I have two slogans for the Word cup that need to reach 45 votes and the're just not budging despite pimping them on the slogan blogs. Please just take a moment and vote on these three slogans until they reach 45, I really don't care if you vote pos or neg as long as you vote
Whisky, Vodka and Tequila Get Me Into The Holiday Spirit on 44 votes Please Speak Spanish So I Can Pretend That I'm On Holiday on 41 votes.
Question : With Threadless giving away bigger and bigger cash incentives on a weekly basis and artists able to earn a life changing amount if they win at the Bestees, is the day of the Threadless amateur over ? Are bigger cash incentives going to draw in more people who have fine art skills who usually ply their trade in the art and design world ?
If established artists who keep raising the bar of excellence ( roadkill3D, Fatheed, alexmdc, alvarejo, flying mouse and most recently Ounom to name just a few ) now have the financial backing and incentive to dedicate more and more time to Threadless design is there room for the part timer or are they at risk of being squeezed out? And if it is likely to be the case, do people see it as a problem? |
