Name the one natural phenomenon you would like to see most before you shuffle off this mortal coil.

Well, I've already seen an eclipse.

So, I now have to think of some more.

Once I figure that part out I'll get back to you.

WoW Lily I've never even heard of that - that looks incredible.

I don't know whether Tibet is strictly a phenomenon but I hope you get all the same.

I would love to see a star go supernova in our own galaxy. But as the last one occured in 1680 I don't fancy my chances.

Jackanapes - that would caount as your best unnatural experience.

Those crystal caves look huge.

I know right!

Bioluminescence is general fascinates me. Plus I like to say the word. The spelling is tricky though.

Jack, it depends who you ask. After a bottle of vodka, that sounds natural to me.

A volcanic eruption--the kind where you don't die and then you go get some roast pig afterwards.

Oh and lava flowing into the ocean...

Going to see the Northern Lights would be a bit of an experience (the aurora borealis, not the movie. I specifically avoided that.)

Auroraborealis, yes!

Jackanapes - you would have to have a very long spit for the pig.

Volcanos do facinate me. Did you see that footage of a guy surfing in the ocean next to a lava flow recently. Apparently if he had fallen in he would have boiled alive.

I can't remember what causes the Aurora. Is it something to do with the Ozone layer?

I don't mean roasting the pig over the volcano. I mean, like, a luau.

Or maybe to that cave in Mexico that has sulfiric acid in it instead of water.. AND THERE ARE FISH LIVING IN IT!

or to that river in mongolia and see the giant salamanders that are 6 feet long

or maybe to the cave in mexico that has the three mile high pile or bat droppings.. maybe not

I also would like to go visit the rainforest and see those ants infected with the spore so that mushrooms start growing out of their bodies.

I can't remember what causes the Aurora. Is it something to do with the Ozone layer?

its caused by the solar dust I think its called, but anyways its like radiation burning in the ozone layer or something.

I'd like to see an unnatural phenomenon. I'd like to see a hail of giant teddy bears plummeting a thousand miles an hour from space, burning up in our atmosphere. Then, the now flaming teddies will rain destruction down on major metropolitan areas, killing millions of innocent people worldwide. Homes will be burned, homeless statistics will increase tenfold, Al Gore will stand on a soap box in the middle of Florida and say "I told you so." And then the entire universe will begin to implode, as the Earth becomes so dense that its gravitational pull generates a enormous black hole. And everything as we know it would end... but not really! Because we'd be sucked into an alternate, parallel dimension, where we'll be reunited with the alternate versions of ourselves... and here's the twist... WE ARE THE EVIL VERSIONS!

But seriously... I'd love to see Auroraborealis too. Such a pretty sight.

There's also a sight in Southern America... I wish I remembered where exactly it was... but there is a village surrounded by waterfalls. They say that at night, the dark sky still shimmers with the most luminous rainbows you've ever seen. Sounds amazing.
