For anyone not in the know, the Rapture is the event when all the worthy people of this world disappear in an instant to go to Heaven leaving the rest of us to contend with all the nasty things that happen in Revelations. What most Christians neglect to mention though is this is never actually specifically mentioned in the Bible and was first thought up around a hundred years ago.

Would be tempting wouldn't it? Did you ever see that episode of 6 ft under where a woman thinks she sees the Rapture when a load of inflatable dolls get let loose and float up in the air. She gets so excited she run accross the road and gets hit by a car. 6ft was sick.
