Let me tell you, this shirt pisses me off because the sun is not a planet... this makes me very very angered. if you're going to make a good shirt, make it accurate. The sun does NOT have planetary status. this was a great idea and is a beautiful graphic but i will never buy thing because that little factor! ARG!

no.. but it is part of the solar system, and removing pluto's "Planetary Status" took it away from the solar system. How do you know the title isn't about only pluto, and the picture is really the solar system. You're being picky as hell. OMG!! Pluto isn't blue! That's not cool! and the sun doesn't have a jagged edge!! WHINE WHINE WHINE!

Well, I'll tell the sun to melt all of your precious ice pops. How would you like that? Oh wait, you wouldn't.

Well Blue's Clues has taught all of the children wrong now.

Don't ask why, but i still remember the planets song from that show from years and years ago, when it first started airing.

"Well the earth's a hot star, and Mercury's hot too,

Venus is the brightest planet, and Earth is home to me and you,

Mars is the red one, and Jupiter's most wide,

Saturn's got those icy rings, and Uranus spins on its side,

Neptune's really windy, and Pluto's..really..small..

Well we wanted to learn the planets, and now we know them all!"

oh dear.

i'm done now. :O)

I hope Blue's Clues apologizes to all of those kids. and me for remembering that song.

the sun is what all of those planets orbit around and what makes them a group (which pluto is no longer a part of).

so he's kind of important.

The sun is a bully voting the planet out of the solarsystem (and thats funny in my book).

The sun is a mass of incandescent gas

A gigantic nuclear furnace

where hydrogen is built into helium

at a temperature of millions of degrees

Yo ho it's hot

The Sun is not

a place where we could live

but here on earth there'd be no life without the light it gives

We need it's light

We need it's heat

We need it's energy

i'd think the bigger inaccuracy would be the fact that the planets have smiling faces and appendages.

i think the idea is that pluto was kicked out of the club (solar system), hence the red velvet rope, though i agree the title doesn't apply to the sun...

although the title doesn't apply to the sun...it just looks better with the sun than without it.
