a couple days ago i realized i was approaching 1-year threadless status, and today is the day!

probably none of you have actually noticed, but i haven't been around lately. i've had a death in the family and an increased workload plus a big deadline and i'm taking a class again.... all this equals sadly no time to either design or hang out reading all your awesome blogs.

i thought that when car companies gave away cars in big drawings and at malls they would just use the publicity and then quietly give the car away to an inside man so that they wouldn't lose the money.

i mean, i never had any evidence to the contrary, cause who do i know who has actually won a car?

yesterday, my boyfriend won a car.

granted, it's kind of a crappy car, and he doesn't need it, so he's going to sell it back to the dealer for less than it's worth and have to pay a crapton of taxes on it... but still. he should walk away with some free money.

it's just good to know that it really is an honest contest.

have you ever known anybody who won something big randomly?

almost done scoring. i don't have much confidence that it's going to do well, but i tried to stretch my skills on this one, and i'm pretty pleased with the result.

thanks to everybody who helped me along the way. it really improved since the first version in subtle ways that i couldn't have fixed without you all.


and alas, my computer is broken. again. sadly, i won't be around for a while, until my laptop keyboard and trackpad work again.
