This is such a sweet shirt! But alas, the Fruit of the Loom shirt never fits me right (sleeves much too big). From the user posts, it seems like most guys opted for the Girlie shirts which for me are too short in both length and sleeves. Last week (or so?) all the reprints were also printed on long-sleeve versions! But not this time! Why Threadless why?!

Threadless is using their own custom-made shirts now, and these fit a bit better than FotL. But yeah, the sleeves are still wretchedly big (pleeease fix this, Threadless!). I've started altering the sleeves of my men's mediums to make them tighter. Just turn the shirt inside out, measure up from the bottom of the sleeve (I go 3 centimetres, but my arms are prolly a little bigger than most guys'), then sew in diagonally to the armpit and back. It's pretty easy to do, and really not noticeable unless you're waving your arms all over the place. My friends mock me for wanting to show off my arms, but hey, flared sleeves suck.
This design, tho, is pretty great.

I tried the X-Large Girlie shirt last time, and it was waaay to small and short. I might just try your tip though Microserfing... thanks!

Start lifting. THEN you would fit into the sleeves just fine.

What size girly shirt would correspond to a mens medium?

XL. The sleeves look a bit short on a guy, but the body and length should be ok.

No way! An XL Girlie is barely a men's small. It's just a teeny wee bit shorter and smaller (just a bit) than a men's small. Compare at the Sizing Chart. Weird...!

I dunno...I buy men's medium and girly XL when the men's are out of stock. Other than the slightly too-short sleeves, the XLs fit very well. They're much better than a men's small (I bought one of those out of desperation, and it was tiiiiight). And men's medium's aren't baggy on me in the body, either, they're fairly snug.
