Hey threadless bloggers and people who've entered the DNA contest!I had an awesome time working on these three designs for the DNA contest and I thought I would share because Threadless Causes designs don't go out and get seen as much as normal submissions seem to.I just wanted to say that I've really loved seeing everyone's submissions for the contest (and for all the Threadless Causes contests that've been up recently! I've voted on just about all the submissions now!) The whole causes idea is awesome and, aside from a few quirks, the system is set up in a friendlier way, too! (No more zeros!) Keep it up guys!

I think I am much more likely to get feedback and votes if I tell people about which submissions I have up...

So! Just letting you know! I have only ONE MORE DAY for two of my submissions! If you have a couple seconds/minutes, please go visit them!

Thanks already!
Hi everyone!
I'm not a blogger sort of person, but I'd like to be.
While looking around the blogs, I noticed that that there are a lot of superstar people on here that people just seem to know and like. I can never tell if they're awesome designers or just popular bloggers!

When random people blog, "This is my new design! Go vote!"... is it because they're a superstar and everyone likes them enough to appreciate the reminder? Does everyone do this?
More important, should I be announcing my new designs? Does it help? Does it irritate people?

(And, not to be a nuisance... The reason I ask, really, is because I've got three designs ready for voting --two extremely new-- and I'm looking for good sources of support and positive score-age.)
I've tried looking around the internet for an answer to my problems, but can't seem to find it! (Maybe I use the wrong keywords?)

This is the issue:
In illustrator I have images that are made out of shapes and lines. When I group and resize them, the lines continue to stay at their original thickness instead of staying consistent with the drawing. (For example: say a line thickness is at 2 and I want to resize to 5000%. The line will be 5000 times bigger, but the thickness wil stay at 2.)

Is there a box I can click or a function I can use to have the thicknesses remain consistent when I resize? Thanks in advance for any help I can get!

All about me

Hi! I'm Erin!

I lean towards the bright side and have a generally cheerful disposition. A quick list of things I enjoy includes: summertime in Seattle, putting birds on things, learning new photoshop and illustrator tools, not living from my phone, redecorating often, typing like I talk but still spelling things right (and using punctuation), and cute junk.

I am currently looking for a job and submitting designs to threadless in my downtime. :)
