decided I'll try out 'Kickin' it old skool' or some variant of that idea.
Thanks everyone for your suggestions, I'll keep you updated when it progresses.
I have a terrible knack for going to bed at 5/6am some nights, and tonight (not for the first time) I got so hooked up in an idea I didn't bother sleeping.
The most disturbing thing is I've just had 2 insanely good tshirt ideas in the space of 5 minutes, as well as another 2 or 3 throughout the night that will now have to queue up as I work on the new masterpieces. What is it with lack of sleep making my brain work?
My design for Brightwood's slogan design thing using Rossmat8's slogan Aardvark: the extra A is for awesome. I only just realized how early I started work on this thing but here it is..
![]() Initial sketch done in 2 parts then put together in photoshop, I'll be playing around with the lettering so that it balances off properly, probably adding an exclamation mark to balance the awesome out before I start vectorising.
And it wasn't them having sex before you say anything!!
For some reason I was at school doing some sort of mega awesome painting and ryan happened to be sat next to me working on his own masterpiece. Then I remember he spilt water on his and messed it up and he was like shiiit and had to run off to get something to clean it up. So then in the 2 minutes he was gone I basically repainted him a whole new painting that looked really similar to this by paul klee: ![]() Then he arrived back with no other than Miss Delacosta herself in a dream cameo as our art teacher. She was stoked when she saw it and gave him a hug because she thought it was his work and I let him take the praise because he's a dude. The end. That's now my second Thread-dream :o
I'm just wondering when it comes down to making halftones (I'm using the Filters/Pixelate/Color Halftone method in photoshop using channel layers), how small can you go before it starts becoming unprintable? I know the minimum is 4px in the settings but what sizes have people noticed works the best when printed? (staff, if you could give any pointers?..)
Thanks!
pretty much describes this in a nutshell

I just decided right now that I want to wear all his subs...
could we have a 'flag as spam' button somewhere? that way we could call out the spammers without having to comment in the blog screaming spam spam spam each time.
