New Portfolio site - finally finished!

My new portfolio site is finally up and running. It's been a WIP for quite a while, but now it's live. I am hoping to keep it more updated than my previous one. Let me know what you guys think.

actually, there's no flash. it's all javascript. Much easier to update html than flash :)

Nice work man. You've got some serious skillz. Question for ya: Did you make the lobster graphics in your print portfolio? It's the last pic. I mean, I assume you did being that they're in there. Did you use a 3D app to create them?

I'm just curious. If you don't want to divulge any information as to how you created them, I'll understand.

Also, did you create the site yourself or did you have someone do it for you?

Yes, I did the 3d modeling, rigging, and posing of the hermit crab character. Another guy did the texturing. I used an open-source program called Blender to do the 3d modeling.

Thankfully I have a genius brother who helped with the java stuff, but I did the rest.

Yeah, it's one of those things that seems to take forever since there is no real deadline. I have just started the job search so I needed to have an online portfolio for employers to see.

I adore your photography. What camera do you use [if you dont mind me asking] Im looking to get a new one, and yours takes amazing photos! Nice site too, Love the organization. :)

kaleigh07: I have a Nikon D50. It's just an entry level DSLR, but I love it. But it's not the camera that takes the photos, it's the photographer and the camera is merely a tool. I usually do a bunch of post-work in photoshop to most of my finished shots to give them that extra pop.
