Quality of print?

about Pessimistic or Optimistic?

I love this shirt, but after reading some other posts about the poor quality of the design it makes me not want to buy it. Has anyone who bought it recently had a good print? Some people were saying the image was crooked and the colors were poorly printed. I love this so much I'd be heartbroken if I ordered it and it ended up looking terrible.

Hmm, I bought this back in March and my print was fine. The colors were great, the design was straight. But I have noticed that after washing it countless times, some of the printed lines (especially the outline of the glass) have gone wavy, causing the shirt to bunch up in the front. This hasn't happened with my other shirts but I'm wondering if it's just because it's such a long, thin line.

yeah i agree my print went a little wierd too, the blue in the cup went dark like it was coming off and the shirt color was coming through. I may retire this one very soon, and its only been worn a few times.

i just got mine in the mail, and it looks faded, washed out and fucked up. blerg. i should have checked the blogs about it. i loved the design very much though, and i live in australia so it's not worth a return for me. : (

I had a similar experience to Wiggleh. Really disappointed with the quality of the print I received. I was really looking forward to receiving this shirt, but when I did, the colours were very faded.

My print wasn't crooked or anything, but the light colors look darker on the grey. It's like any spot in the print where the light blue is maybe not on as well as the rest of it, the grey bleeds through and looks worn. Still love the design though and it hasn't cracked yet.

It's very, very cheap for a new tee with several colours so the print is probably the same, just on the new tees. No chino additive for softness that we get on the newer ones either.

Hmm, good point about the chino additive. I was surprised at the price as well... I wonder if someone else who buys the reprint could post about the quality? I like this design, but having read the above comments I'm not so keen on buying the reprint unless it is significantly higher quality than the AA print....

It's one of my favorite shirts. The water is a little bit dotty by now (I mean, there are tiny tears that show the shirt's color), but not at a level that anybody would notice.. The colors seem to have stayed the same, the shirt looks good. And I got it ages ago.

(Now that I've said that, Murphy will kill the shirt somehow. Beh)

So, essentially the print quality is just as bad as it was before? Shame. :((
