Gingerbread nightmares was something that I played around with for ages. I think gingerbread men are good subject matter to make fun of,. I tried incorporating rolling pins, cookie cutters and icing, and also smaller pieces of gingerbread to create a thought bubble but in the end I just kept it simple. I had a friend tell me recently that he thought the despair was because the gingerbread mans mate has disappeared? interesting if thats what people see, but my intended idea is that he's just realised he has no legs, something that came to me when I was working with the original cookie cutter concept.
