I started freelancing nine years ago while working full time as a creative director for Nutraceutics in St. Louis. While my business grew and I moved from St. Louis to Iowa two years ago, I decided to go solo full time. I am attending graduate school at Iowa State University to pursue a Master of Fine Arts degree in graphic design. My hope is to teach graphic design at the university level.

My work has been recognized in the upcoming book by LogoLounge "Master's Library," the March 2003 issue of PRINT magazine , the July 2007 issue of Curve magazine, the February 2005 issue of Esquire magazine, the July 2005 issue of Fortune magazine, the documentary movie The Asphalt Gospel, the January 20, 2009, issue of The Des Moines Register and Episode 384, January 22, 2008 of The Rachael Ray Show.

I often grow tired of being too serious in my design work, or life in general for that matter. I credit this point of view to my years in the workforce, where a large part of the work that I created was not very much fun or spiritually fulfilling.
