When the artist is given free range to do whatever they want, coming up with something super popular that everyone likes is probably not a very high priority.

But then, most of the chosen artists have earned that right.

$9 for a really intricate piece of art.

$25 for a dumpy little 10 minute drawing. (*to note* I do kind of like the concept of this one, but not enough to buy it)

There are a lot of strange designs that aren't necessarily to my liking that have made it to print on here that aren't Select Tees too. But I suppose if the people at Threadless had to split hairs about pricing enough to please me they'd never get anywhere.

sweet n sour: Mostly no. To me Art is in the idea. But in order for me to buy a tee to wear it, the idea has to have punch and not be interpretive like most Select Tees are. Good question by the way.

All about me

I am a freelance 3D artist. I like to geocache, ride bikes and I enjoy doing photography, time lapse videos and art in my spare time. So one would think that I would've submitted something to Threadless by now, but I'm waiting for the big idea to hit me. I expect that it will be something ironic or witty, and not hinging on it's design for the punch. But oh well, wish me luck.
