This rider has TERRIBLE form! Their eyes aren't up and looking ahead, they seem to be gripping with their knees which results in heels up, their back looks rounded instead of arched... I hope this isn't an indicator of the artist's equitation.

Screw it, I'd still buy the shirt.

Have you ever ridden a cat? I doubt it. I've ridden hundreds and I can safely say that riding a cat and riding a horse are totally different pursuits. The Jockey's form is exquisite.

I agree with Tonteau. Personally, I have found that cats don't go very well on snaffles, especially without any martingale. They keep looking up at the birds and plow the jump.

You absolutely can't compare cat riding and horse riding, it has nothing to do with.
Moreover, I was extremely bad at horse riding, that's why now I draw out of shape cats.

That's weird, because someone in the original post said the rider had very good form:

"This isn't a racehorse (er, race-cat) and it's not a jockey. They're show-jumpers. ;)

Speaking of which, in addition to a great design, you've depcicted some nice equitation here! The leg's tight at the girth, and you even got the crest release right! Five bucks, plus a tip for being smart.
(I ride, and as asinine as it seems, it always bugs me when I see a design that shows sloppy riding. This is thrilling! So cute ...)"

trace job? whatever, all illustrators use reference, big fucking deal.

I have a cat, there's no way I'd ever get his fat ass to pose for me, next best thing is a google search.
