Bored at work

It's Good Friday, the office closes at 1pm and most of my co-workers and bosses aren't even here. The mail guy just walked by muttering something about cutting someone and the crazy girl adjacent to me has been phone-fighting with doctors for the past two days for yet another of her "mysterious" medical maladies.

Time to hang out in the blogs. Hey...at least I got two shirts in the mail yesterday!

rooster i'm about 5 hours west of you and everything is the same...well, except the snow but yesterday it was 60 here, and now it's barely above freezing and i'm wearing my winter coat again...stupid mother nature needs to make up her mind.

Robin: that sounds a lot like my job, too. They come by with projects here and there. Yesterday one of them handed me three pages of an Excel spreadsheet with crazy writing scrawled all over. That was fun to decode...hee hee.

My ipod's hard drive crashed earlier... and my IT system at work blocks MOST well-known music sites.

Our IT policy at work is very uptight, its quite annoying. I can't change my desktop or screensaver.... can't download ANYTHING and any emails with curses are blocked by the system. Which just leads me to writing in code like.... i hate the b@stards who work in IT at this sh:tty company.

if you have windows media player, there are some radio streems. Or try the page of you favourite radio and see if they have an online stream, and if that is not blocked..

I've not streamed music online in a very long time.... ever since i got my ipod and discovered this awesome russian website where you can buy songs for like $0.10 and whole albums for $1.30.....

I'm trying windows mediaplayer but i think the stupid firewall has blocked it.

I finally got windows media player's tuner to work & some punk song from the 80's "Little Bitch" by the Specials came blaring out so loudly i almost fell off my chair.

Tora---4-13 inches is what the weather people say when they dont have a frigging clue yet dont want to be wrong.

snow?! whacha talking bout, tora? Sigh, I've been wearing my spring coat all week in protest but it's clearly not working. Hopefully all the snow will stay south of me :-P
