I like cotton shirts. I'm too busty to wear the girly T and the guys isn't cotton. Also I loooove it on the purple. It pains me to know I cannot have this lovely shirt.

Aye, SOOO many good designs that I probably wont buy because I HATE fruit of the loom t-shirts. Also the reason that I am not part of the 12 month club.

I just wish they'd print girly shirts that fit women. I buy the men's shirts but they are too big in the shoulders. The AA shirts are made of ultra-thin material and are teeny...my 1-yr-old has shirts that aren't much smaller. Really. I bought an XL that my husband saw and laughed at...it looked like a child's size. Not that I'm huge; I've bought some child-size tops before. But this "XL" looked like a child's size 6. Or maybe I just fell victim to the AA sizing vagaries? At any rate, it won't happen again. I refuse to buy any more AA girly shirts.

I used to never buy shirts in girl sizes because they were always too tiny. But during a recent sale I decided to buy one.. I normally get guys medium but I got a girly XL. It seemed basically the same size, maybe a little smaller but not that bad.

I know what you mean. Luckily for me even though I am much curvier than AA seems to think girls are, my general smallness (I have reeeaaally tiny bones) makes up for it. They still fit me oddly though - XL is ok on the hips/bust and very baggy around the waist, L is tighter on the aforementioned larger areas but STILL baggy around the waist! Sigh.

I'm under the impression that the new girls' shirts will be more girl-shaped and have more sizes available, so maybe you'll get lucky and they'll reprint it on the new shirts!

The AA XL I got would not have fit my 90-lb mother-in-law (and no, she's not a short 90 lbs, she's regular height like me--she's been reported to her boss by her co-workers on suspicions of anorexia).

I know I tried on an XL at the AA store in Ann Arbor that fit better (though not by much). But AA is known for inconsistent sizes, so I'm not surprised. Really, I need to get on the ball and post some pics of this shirt compared to my little boy's tops. It's pretty amazing. I'll give one thing to AA--their shirts stretch. I was able to get the thing on me and off of me, which when you look at the shirt, seems fairly miraculous. Like those little tiny knit gloves you can get that stretch to full hand size, know what I mean? Of course those look normal when you put them on. The XL AA shirt looked like a sausage casing on me. Nice. Even when I was 106 lbs I would NOT have been able to fit into this.

As for the bust, I'm barely a 36B and this shirt made me look like I was trying out for a job at Hooters. The design was stretched and contorted. The hips and waist were tighter than skin-tight...it was more like control-top pantyhose.

Sure, I'd like to be rail-thin again. I've still got some baby weight on me. I'm working on losing as much as I can. But I'd have to be a child for this to fit.

You're not supposed to WEAR these shirts.

They should only be framed and hung in a place of honor in your home.

It's all about the design, NOT the shirt.

JEEZUSFUCK.

That sounds... insane. I am definitely bigger than that (roughly 145 pounds, 30F bust) and I can fit into the L and XL. I think you must have got a botched shirt (though yes, AA are crappy and inconsistent size-wise). Please do post those pics! And maybe some measurements?

I usually get a guy's small, I've ordered ONE girly XL, and it seem to fit okay until it gets up around my shoulders where it is almost too tight for comfort. I'm bout a 36D, so maybe the difference in band size, not bust size is where it comes in. The guy's small is a teensy bit tight around my boobs, but not too much, and gives me plenty of room to move my arms without feeling all constricted. as i said before, girly XL is fine, though tighter, except for the tightness around the shoulders/arms.

for the record, I'm 5'8 and weigh in at 150.

i prefer the guy's AA over the fruit of the loom though, it seems to fit better on my figure, but maybe its just me. Fruit of the loom is longer (makes me feel tall and lanky) and doesn't seem to "hug" me like the AA shirts do.

I must have been pretty lucky......I'm about 6' and about 160 and the XL fits great on both the tees I got. My only complaint is that it is a little short, but nothing I can't deal with.

But then again, I'm only about a 36 B, so it probably fits better then most....

I'm 5'5'', 125 lbs. and a 34A and I buy girlie larges.

I guess I would rather have had a medium for some, but others have shrunken to perfection or to too much. Gah.

AA sizing blows.

I'm glad to see that I wasn't the only one having problems in ordering the girl cut tees from threadless. I'm a size 12/14, 36/38D and just under 5'9". I debated to get either the guys or girls cut tee.

When I finally ordered the shirts, I tried the XL girl cut. When they arrived, I was really worried they wouldn't fit. But I was happy once I got them on and I was pleased with the fit. I haven't washed them yet, but plan on washing them in cold water and air drying.

Please someone tell me if they look ridiculously tight...

The Girly Shirts SHRINK! If they fit you new, Wash cold, don't dry--ever!

My size 4, 32 AA (aka braless) friend ordered the girly medium and it fit her perfectly, and my size 6/8 , 36 C friend wears the girly XL and it fits her well (a couple of her shirts are getting too short with shrinkage). She wears a size small or medium normally.

I am endowed with a 42 D! These ain't going into a Threadless girly T without a fight. The guys AA size L and XL shirts fit okay once I shrink them in the wash, but the dimensions aren't right, sleeves too long, shirt too long, baggy shoulders and armpit area. And to all the other busty ladies out there, don't get the cotton/poly shirts, they never fit right. They don't shrink, the sleeves stay too long, they're narrow in the hips.

ooops, made a mistake, my size 4 friend wears a AA girly large. Not a medium.

I usually wear a guys small, or a guys medium. Girls x-larges fit perfectly.

i'm around 140 lbs, 5'2" and a 36B. i get the girly larges and they seem to do fine on me.

i have to say i've never really experienced any problems with shrinking. i usually wash in cold water, but dry regularly.

they might fit me better because i'm short and don't have to deal with the shirts becoming too short along with them fitting over my chest. The sholders and waist are fine on me, and the way i'm built, my sholders are slightly wider than my hips.

i guess what i'm trying to say is that luck has a lot to do with it too...

oh, and just for the record, my 5'5" 12o lb little sister wears the mediums and they fit her exactly. she's thinking about just getting the larges so she has a couple inches of extra room.
