I was thinking of adding in some greytones after all the basic design is done. Making the drums look shiny and such. Maybe some orange? Since Emperor penguins have that pretty orange spots near their necks...

I hate penguins. Really, I am so sick of them I could strangle someone. But this shirt idea is simply too awesome to hate. I think I have a newfound appreciation for penguins now.

It looks really cool. One thing, however, the penguin on bass needs to be interactiong more with the instrument.

Yeah he will be interacting more, I just haven't had the time to re-do his flippers yet. Or add instrument straps. Or fix the placemet...or add the amps and wires. Haha. Yeah this is like 33% done.....

in case you want suggestions, heres mine: Would be fun if they were more in action. Open the lead singers beak. Put the bassist's flippers on the bass. Right now, those two dont look so sure they want to be there.

I'm guessing for this to get printed you might want to add more pep, perhaps some color ~ on drums, guitars, a crooked tie on the lead singer. I dunno. maybe it'd be lame to ad any clothes. experiment.

the penguins might have some yellow or orange, if they are that kind of penguin.

LoL to be honest, I hated this at first glance, but its making me laugh right now.

I think the jumping guitarist penguin is the funniest. Penguins don't jump, so seeing one rocking out like a punk star is great. If I didn't think It would be too much, the guitarist would have a mohawk...



quoperate (i like your name) - Thanks! Yes, I think I'm adding in some orange for sure. They are emporer penguins, so they have orange on their necks. And yes, the singer and bassist will be interacting more, no worries. The way I'm making the pic is starting with a basic no-rocking penguin drawing, adding instruments, then modifying the drawing to fit the instrument. Those two just haven't made it that far thru the process yet. heh.

The Singer seems to be overlapping the Cymbal Stand a bit oddly by his arm.

You should make the drums and the guitar the color of the shirt.

xiv: That's a good idea! I'll see how that looks. I have no idea what shirt color to put this on. I think i'll sub it as an swf with a color selector option.

i think it would work best on blue, green and red.

I'd love to see this with each of the different band members in a unique print color of their own. Nothing crazy, just each different. That would probably limit you to the light colored shirts or else it might look odd.
