Now I'm dead set on getting this shirt, so you could imagine what I felt when I saw it was zipped off my cart since it was sold out in a guy's small. I'm still interested in the shirt, so much that I'm thinking of buying either an XS(2 inches less in width, 1 inch less in length) or buying a girls large( the sizes seem to be almost identical)

My question is that am I better off buying an XS or buying the girl's large? Is there a difference in terms of cut between the girl's and guy's tees, or would the small and large be identical?

Here's a link to the size chart:

The main difference is that the girl's shirts have shorter sleeves. So if you have long arms, that might look a bit strange. Other than that, they don't fit too differently. For comparison: in my photos here, I wear all girl's XL, except for Swirl of the World and Penguins on Holiday, those are guy's M. So you can see the difference in the sleeves.

the girly shirts have girly cuts, more curvy and form fitting. I don't think they'd look right on a guy, but good luck to you. maybe you can pull it off?

Thanks for the info guys and gals, I think I'm gonna try the XS. I measured how much extra room I usually get on my AA smalls and figure I can pull off the difference.

The sleeves and the fact that there IS a difference in cut is what turned me off to girls. Though if the XS doesn't work, I'm apt to try it anyway. If only to have a plan B.
