I received my first Threadless shirt on 26th June! It was such a surprise because I expected to get it sometime in July, but I'm not complaining. I also expected to sign something confirming that I'd received it, but no. Just a couple of honks from the postman on his motorcycle, after he slipped the package between our wrought-iron gates. No, we don't have a proper mailbox, but that story's for another day :)
I ordered it on 2nd June, and was informed on 12th June (10 days) that it had been shipped and was on its way. So it only took 2 weeks for it to get here from Chicago. Pretty impressive, and I would've gotten it sooner if it wasn't for the high volume during the sale. I then calculated since I placed my 2nd order 2 days after the first one, I waited for the postman to come with my other shirts for 2 days in a row (I was afraid that someone was going to steal the package if they were curious enough). Heheh, no luck. Come Friday, though, 29th June, they'd finally arrived! Yes, honks from the postman, and I was like Pavlov's dog, running outside to get my precious shirts. I'm happy with the ones I ordered, and I'm looking forward to getting me some more (I'm eyeing Diodes are a Girl's Best Friend). Thank you honest postmen, from Chicago to my hometown, for delivering my shirts safely to my gates. Thank you honest postmen everywhere!! about Satan's Little Helper
When I first saw this, I thought to myself, there MUST be some Harry Potter fans out there getting this shirt. It's so precious, and the color of this shirt is fantastic (only because it complements my skin - no blah colored shirts for me). I'm still undecided as whether to buy this shirt (next sale maybe?), but coming across this design always makes me smile. It would've definitely brought tears to Hagrid's eyes; don't think he'd agree on them being called as Satan's Little Helpers, though :) |
