  • The way I heard it, this Latin motto (make haste slowly) was a favorite of Emporor Augustus and so he had it printed along with the allegorical image of a crab & a butterfly. Then, during the Renaissance, printers like Paolo Giovio used it as an emblem for their publishing houses.

    So I thought it might make a neat shirt.

  • I agree with Cyanidee... I would like it more if they were horizontal. Then, with your arms down, it would look like you were holding them back. Which would be a big plus.
