Dude, girly XL = 18.75 inches and guy's small = 18 inches



The girly large is closer to the guy's small because it's an inch smaller (17.75 inches)



And yeah, I had all these numbers memorized.

I would never buy a girly L or XL for myself, because they're much too big... like, too wide and short. But I have no problem with buying a guys small. I don't know why
