I go every weekend almost and find great stuff all the time.

For example: This week

1. Cassette of Kill Uncle - Morrissey .50 cents

2. Cassette of Louder Than Bombs- The Smiths .50 cents

3. Video Cassette -
Rare German television Interview from 1987 - The Smiths $1

4. Talking Head's CD- Sand in the Vaseline - $1

5. 6 unopen packs of Garbage Pail Kids Stickers - .50 each

6. a copy of Bona Drag that had the wrong cd in it.... $1

yay for talking heads! I love them. But I don't like swap meets, mostly because of the shady characters...

i go to goodwill, that like an a swap meet with a middle man

i used to go until it became nothing but fuzzy car seat covers, rebranded tires, dollar store made in china toys, scary little girl pepto pink crinolin dresses, questionable underwear and 1980's throwback boomboxes.

although there is a guy who will cook you a bag of fresh potato chips from a converted steel drum for a buck and a half, that's pretty hard to pass up...
