Hi everyone. I'm a huge threadless user and fan, but I haven't posted many blogs. I don't even know if anyone will read this...

So I'm not really an artistic person, but I'm kind of interested in submitting a few designs in a the future, just for fun.

What kind of software/programs does anyone suggest to someone who's never done anything like this before? Or is some of it not done on computers? I know everyone does their own thing, but I'm just curious to see how I could go about trying my hand in some designing.

Thanks!

Andrew

I'd recommend photoshop and illustrator.

but there are free alternatives, such as the GIMP. If you don't view ps/illustrator as being free programs.

...so I take it there are ways to get them without buying them? Care to elaborate?

When I got my digital camera, it came with Photoshop Elements, and I have used that.
