the wonderful wizard of poland!

Because because because because... la la la la la lala.

It's officially 16 minutes till midnight and I am going on a class trip to Poland tomorrow and have to leave the house at 9! Weee.

Slightly disappointing stuff - I ordered my tees on the 28th of may and they haven't come yet. I'm sure they'll come tomorrow as I'm on the train. Living in Germany sucks.

Anyone have any suggestions on what to do on the 8 hour train ride? I can't think of anything other than boring stuff - journal, read book, etc.

And what is Poland like, if you've been there?

Where in Poland? I've been to Krakow! I loved it. I've also been to Oświęcim.

haha... er, I actually do have an excuse. Everything involving Poland is discussed in German, and I've only been learning for less than a year so I usually tend to tune out and expect people to tell me. I DO know we're going to Auschwitz though. That'll be sad.

Amalia, do you speak polish? Polish is really really hard to read. Just pronouncing the words kills me.

I really should be going to sleep, but I just remembered I had an assignment I had to do about poland, so i'm doing that now.

basically it was a lot of fun because I was with my friends :) and I learned how to say 'gin do bre' (hello?) and 'gin ku yeh' (thank you). That's the pronunciation.

Yep! We kind of did sight seeing but it was more like, "Look, here's a nice building... [insert German stuff Teresa can only half understand]". So I didn't learn much historically there. Though I did by a threadless like tee (kinda) for 8 euros.

You should go, even if you spend a lot of money on flying Poland is reallllyyy realllyyy cheap. Like half the price, I'd say. Plus, flights in europe are about 40 euro (very cheap). I say a European trip is due soon!
