about Muzak Homage
They sold out of this in men's small sizes ages ago, yet now they have a few left (one less now that I've placed my order).I know these unannounced shirt reprints (kinda) have been happening for other for other shirts recently too, like "Ways Of Making You Talk," "The Beginning," "Sound Advice," and "Connect It," just to name a few. Does anyone know why they're doing this? It's like a reward for all the community members who frequent the site enough to catch the few the put up but missed buying them the first time around. Either way, it's awesome, and I'm soooooo excited I get this tee now. If I hadn't just bought two other black shirts from Threadless (they're in the mail now), I'd probably buy Connect It and BEarth, which is another one that just got a few more added.
OK. Obviously threadless can't print every awesome design that's submitted, but I still really wish a few had that weren't, as I'm sure many others do (especially the designers).
Here are my top 5 Man!-I-totally-would-have-bought-that-if-it-had-been-printed designs of 2007, with a few honorable mentions. 1st: ![]() 2nd: ![]() 3rd: ![]() 4th: ![]() 5th: ![]() Honorable mention: ![]() ![]() ![]() Feel free to add to or comment on my list. Lament with me the fact that no one will ever wear these (at least not from threadless). :)
I've been looking around threadless recently for some great new artists and I've come across several who I think are really going to contribute at least a few shirts in 2008.
What I'm asking you to do is tell who your favorite upcoming artist is and why. I'll start: my nomination and recommendation to keep an eye on is olie!, who has generated quite a few great designs in the past couple weeks. In his past six designs, he's scored 2.66, 3.12, 2.14, 2.32, 2.80, and 2.49. That's pretty freakin incredible, especially for someone who's never (yet) been printed. So, what do you think? about X-Ray
I just pointed out to one of my female friends that, while this design is really cool, it might not work out very well for ladies who are well-endowed. Could this be a potential downfall for such a cool design? about 12 Club Subscription
Anyone who is a member of the 12 Club and has a small men's "Destroyigami" shirt that is dissatisifed with it, I would be more than happy to purchase it from you.I know it's unlikely anyone will be willing to get rid of one, especially in the exact size that I want it, but I really like the design and I can hardly get one any other way, eh? Thanks for the help/consideration. -Shane |
I haven't submitted any photos. I guess I don't want free money.
