How come some people have like 256 people rating thier slogan and on mine it goes no higher than like 56? I dont understand! lol

I have a question for some of the more "experienced threadlessers"

I want to post a design for a shirt and I have this really awesome idea in my head but I do not know how to even begin to put it on some template. I know I should prolly use photoshop and what not. But if anyone could give me some good advice or tips on how to get started I would REALLY appreciate it :]
