If you drop the right edge of the square block onto the verticle line 4 in from the left, then you can fit the 'T' shaped block which comes next into the space left underneath by turning it on its side slotting it in sideways and then applying a quick 2 or 3 (preferably 3) presses of the B or A buttons.

Problem solved, tetris novices.
