300 really DID die.

300 of the soldiers actually DID die in that movie. The King Leonidis brought WITH him 300 men, and he died too, but that guy with the eye patch lived. So it was really 301 minus 300. Sorry, I was watching the movie today with some people and I mentioned the shirt and how funny it was and they were like, "No, 300 did die, remember the king died too?"

I think the idea is that 299 of the original 300 die, which is right.



Because the King isn't one of the three hundred, the traitor doesn't die but doesn't count anyway because he was never part of the 300, and 1 gets send back then its 299.
