So I'm new here. Yep.

I have yet to learn how to do vector art, but I'm a photographer and...yeah, a photographer...I used to be a musician, but then I kinda quit. Are you allowed to submit photos as designs? Sadly I don't think so. Maybe someone could fill me in on that.

Anyhow...

I'd like to think I'm not your typical DevianTARTlet, but I am also on DeviantART. My name on that site is the same as it is here, so if anyone is really motivated, they can go take a quick look at my photos and...other crappy stuff *nervous laugh*

I don't have a feeling I'm going to be very social here, but I am quite active on DeviantART...this rather seems like a bit more of an "older" site--in other words, geared toward an older crowd. Don't get me wrong, being a teenager has it's up-sides, but one of the major down-sides is that everyone automatically sees you as some obnoxious little girl / boy / thing (girl in my case) who uses way too many internet smiles, speaks netspeak like a second language and throws around Japanese terminology if they happen to like anime.

Fortunately, I'm not quite like that.

I have good grammar, good internet etiquette (for the most part), and I try to be nice without being too hyper, or giving too many pointless comments like "OMG kawaii!!1one"

But that's about it...if you lot really care that much about my boring life, I'd recommend my DeviantART page, not this one. I'm gonna make a SWAG and say that I won't update too much at all here, so as not to have some uinbelievably long archive of crap that nobody cares about.

Cheers, Static

I think if you take the photo, and work with it in a way that makes for cool t-shirt are, you're good to go. Just don't go using other people's copyrighted photos.

Anyway, welcome!

And there are lots of teens around here, but the people who get their designs printed tend to be older. I think it's an experience thing.

Bienvenidos. I used to be on dA too, but alas, no more. There're plenty of good vector tuts over there which'll help you get started.

I think Skipper's the youngest to get his design printed, right?

Welcome Static, you seem to have alot in common with me (considering your "about me" thing).

@ladykat: Oh no, I use all my own photography. :)

@karm: Thanks, I'll have to take a look around.

@blossompossum: That's cool--who's Skipper?

Polite people with good grammar are a rarity here, alas.

Welcome.

This is Taylor/ Skipper6745/Danger. He made this design, and being 17, I think he's the youngest to get a print.

@jean_warhol: Not a problem. :D

@blossompossum: Oh, I think I voted for that one. Well, I guess I'll get something printed in due time...I'm not really good with digital art yet. I'm willing to wait.

I haven't submitted any photos. I guess I don't want free money.

All about me
