Is it me, (or this particular shirt) or is Kelly green a ghastly t-shirt color?

about My Turn!

My friend bought this shirt (a guys tee) and although the design is fantastic, the color of the t-shirt is so ugly that it detracts dramatically from its overall aesthetic appeal. The color is glaringly bright- like almost a florescent lime green, and looks nothing like it does on my computer monitor. Is it just this particular t-shirt, or are all Kelly green shirts this way?

I bought one kelly green shirt from threadless and NEVER AGAIN.

I guess it comes down to taste but, I agree with you here.

I noticed that the guys color is a LOT more yellow than the girls. All of the longsleeved ones, kid ones and girly shirts are a richer, darker green. Weird.

i prefer jade, but kelly looks great if you have a bit of a darker complexion

I love kelly green. You might have a defective one if it's "almost fluorescent lime green", though - mine are nothing like that.

Yeah, the guys and girls shirts are very different shades of green. So your friend AND your girlfriend have this shirt?? Hahaha!

p.s. Yeah, none of my other green shirts look anything like fluorescent lime green...

The guys shirt is a little bright, but it's far from terrible. I really like mine.

Yeah Vallor, I'm sbycho1's girlfriend, and now (including myself)we know 4 people who own it. As a matter of fact, I'm wearing it right now!
